The Essex, Vermont’s Culinary Resort & Spa will take center stage on Friday, December 10th, as Good Morning America visits for a live broadcast, beginning at 7:00 a.m.

The Essex is the first stop on the 2010 GMA Lights Up America tour, which showcases holiday traditions in cities and towns around the country.

GMA's Sam Champion

Weather anchor Sam Champion will be broadcasting live from The Essex throughout the morning, and the public is, of course, invited to stop by to catch the festivities.

The Good Morning America cameras will feature all the pomp and circumstance that makes The Essex one of Vermont’s most magical holiday destinations– from the thousands of holiday lights to the handmade Vermont wreaths, the gigantic 20-foot Christmas tree, and the steaming hot mugs of the world’s best hot chocolate.

ABC News’ Good Morning America airs from 7 a.m.– 9 a.m. on WVNY ABC22 in the Burlington area.
